My Overall Review of VCDM231. Would I Recommend This Course To Other Students?

On December 13, students in VCDM231 took their final assessments and present their final presentation and show off their best artworks in the class. I did my presentation on December 13 too but due to technical difficulties I couldn't show my website, so I decide to do re-do presentation on Zoom. In this video, I showed my blog and my website that I created based of an online brand of expensive coffeehouse. In the video, I answered question from the final assessment and showcase my best artworks from this class. I want to say thank you Professor Chieke for teaching us and it's been honorable to be a student in your class. Would I recommend this course to other students? 100 percent yes, especially for students who wants to enhance their skills in Photoshop and Illustrator. Happy Holidays!

Retro Vintage Vectorized Text Effect Illustrator Template (Mixed Photoshop Editing)

Hello everyone, I found this vector text effect template from freepik.com, and I wanted to add it to my blog. I really like this template due to its vintage style, and it reminds me of the 70s logotype. The template was easy and straightforward to open in Illustrator. The only thing you have to do is open the. EPS file in Illustrator and edit the template the way you like. The template is on the Abode Stock website; my results are at the top. Blogger didn't let me upload the template, so I did some editing on Photoshop.

The downloads are usually .AI file or .EPS files so open the file in Illustrator then BOOM!, your template is ready to be edit. REVIEW: Is A Mouse Or Touchpad Better For Your Work Environment?

On November 9th, 2023, Professor Chieke from VCDMA219 recommended students to buy a mouse for their laptops to work on projects. Professor Chieke sent us this article about how using a mouse is better for your work and educational environment.  According to the article, "using the external mouse allowed many users to be more precise in task performance, and, in some cases, they were nearly 50% more productive versus using a touchpad." Using an external mouse can reduce pain and fatigue. Using an external mouse reduces physical discomfort in the neck, shoulder, and forearm muscle activity that occurs when using the touchpad rather than an external mouse. I agree with this article, and I highly recommend VCDMA students read this article. For me, using Adobe and Autodesk programs on the touchpad can be tricky so using an external mouse is very useful and helpful.
