Event: 2-in-1 Sessions at the Adobe Max Conference Review

From October 11 to 12, I attended two Adobe Max Creative Conference 2023 virtual sessions. Adobe Max aims to bring Adobe experts and inspiring creative artists together to showcase and improve our skills. Due to my busy schedule, I only attended two virtual sessions based on specific Adobe programs, such as After Effects and Photoshop.

After Effects 101: After Effects for New Users - VS601

The first virtual session I attended was 'After Effects 101: After Effects for New Users - VS601', hosted by After Effects expert Luisa Winters. The 30-minute virtual session was prerecorded, but the virtual session included a live chat that allowed Adobe users to ask questions from the host. This virtual session was a beginner guide for Adobe users who want to learn how to use After Effects. I only used the After Effects program once I joined this session. This session doesn't focus on the typography aspect per se but on creating a tameable composition using effects. After using After Effects during this session, I felt more comfortable using and understanding its function. The host was welcoming in live chat and answered every question in the chat box as quickly as possible.

A Different Vision: Where Fantasy and Reality Meet - VS821

The second virtual session I attended was 'A Different Vision: Where Fantasy and Reality Meet - VS821', and this session was about two inspiring artists telling their stories about their artistic journey and creating their creative fantasies into reality using Adobe programs. The artists that premiered in this session were BossLogic and Mikaela Stafford. BossLogic 's presentation stood out for me the most because he had the same dreams and goals that I want to achieve after I graduate from BSU. His story was inspiring and intriguing. I highly recommend VCDMA students to listen to his presentation. Thank you for reading this blog post! :)
